Latest model pinning, clearer Script status, and CLI and app reliability and security fixes
New features
- Latest model aliases - Model flags and session defaults can now pin the newest model in a tier or version line
Improvements
- Script status lines - Every Script run now ends with a status line carrying its result and wall time
- Script progress reporting - Checking an unfinished Script run now reports its progress instead of calling it stalled
- Ignored exec flag warning - Droid exec now warns which flags have no effect when you drive it with streaming input
- Redesigned support page - The support page now shows version, platform, and connection details with copyable diagnostic rows
Bug fixes
- Script observation windows - A Script call now returns at its own wait window instead of blocking on nested work
- Large attachments in requests - Older images and PDFs are dropped so a turn with large attachments still goes through
- Script runs at exit - Droid exec now waits once for a running Script and names any run it stops
- Request too large errors - A request refused for its size now explains that large attachments or tool output caused it
- Empty update version - Droid update now rejects an empty version instead of quietly installing the latest release
- Empty deployment section - General settings no longer show a deployment section with nothing in it
- Compaction after a model switch - A session that switched models now compacts at the context limit instead of getting stuck
- Responses with no output - Droid now stops with guidance when a model keeps ending its response before any output
- Failed tool calls with images - A failed tool call that produced an image no longer makes the next request fail
- Delegated tasks in exec - Droid exec no longer exits while a task it delegated in the background is still working
- Repeating output recovery - Repeating output later in a turn is now retried instead of ending the turn
- Staying signed in - Droid no longer signs you out when several requests renew your session at the same time
Security
- Credentials in wiki commands - Wiki commands now strip credentials from a repository URL before sending or printing it
