Ask Side Chat about highlighted text, resume a session by id, and CLI and app fixes
New features
- Ask Side Chat about text - Highlighting Droid's response now offers Ask side chat, which opens the side chat with the text quoted
- Resume a session by id - The new /resume command, and /sessions, now open a session directly when you pass its id
- Continue a spec in chat - An approved spec can now continue in a new chat that starts with the spec's context
Bug fixes
- Request timeout retries - A request that times out is now retried instead of immediately failing your turn
- Custom model output limits - Requests to a custom model now stay within the output limit configured for it
- Output after a model switch - A turn that switches models no longer keeps the first model's unfinished reasoning or tool calls
- Browser pane auto-open - The desktop browser pane now opens only after Droid loads a page, and stays closed briefly after you dismiss it
- Secret scan time limit - Scanning a long push history now gets more time before the scan blocks the command
- Connector logos while scrolling - Connector logos in a tool summary no longer paint over the pinned message while you scroll
- Deleted Slack message error - A request started from a Slack message that was deleted now returns a clear error
- Long responses cut short - A response cut off mid-stream is now retried so the turn can finish
- Duplicate usage reports - Usage reported for your own model key is no longer recorded twice when a report is retried
- Right pane key presses - Pressing Enter on a right pane control no longer answers a pending question in chat
- Automation folder icons - A project group in the sidebar now shows the automation folder icon only when every session is an automation
- Process kill commands - Droid now refuses a kill command that would signal its own process

- Excel skill dependencies - The Excel skill now installs a pinned spreadsheet library and skips its install scripts
