- Doctor self-launch check - The doctor command now checks that Droid can start itself and warns when startup is slow
Improvements
- Typing during startup - Text typed or pasted while Droid starts now edits the same way as the composer
- Turn preparation speed - Starting a turn is far faster when many custom models are configured
- MCP server actions - Disabling or removing an MCP server now shows right away instead of waiting for it to exit
Bug fixes
- New session defaults - New sessions now preselect a model you can run and keep a starter suggestion as an editable draft
- Saved session compatibility - Saved sessions now keep their messages readable when an update adds new fields to them
- Remote background processes - The footer now lists background commands running on another computer and stops them there
- Repository lookup in subfolders - Readiness commands and built-in skills now find a repository cloned below your working folder
- Duplicate session copies - A session stored twice now appears in session lists from its readable copy
- Multi-line answer editing - Answer boxes and the /btw draft now take multi-line text and move between rows like the composer
- Unreachable project folders - A project folder on a disconnected drive or share no longer stalls the session list
- Copying command output - Copying build or command output now pastes plain text without terminal escape codes
