7.6.0

Minor Changes

  • #13951 492a2ff - Ask the agent to commit and push when you send pull request CI failures or review comments from the Agent Manager PR panel, or update a worktree from its base, so the pull request updates without a follow-up prompt. Permission prompts still confirm each commit and push. Turn off "Push Pull Request Fixes" in Settings, Agent Behaviour to keep commits manual.

  • #13927 ed3cdc6 - Add the /caffeinate command and notifications that explain when Kilo keeps the computer awake while agents work.

  • #13929 9dae829 Thanks @WebReflection! - Add an opt-in, one-time import of supported global Claude Code instructions, simple skills, and disabled MCP definitions into Kilo.

  • #13965 6bbe6ac - Click the thinking indicator to scroll the current chat to the latest message.

  • #13903 99eab84 - Write and preview multiline PR comments and code suggestions, reply from the PR panel or diff view, and edit or delete your own comments directly in Agent Manager.

Comment on selected PR diff lines, submit reviews, and preview and apply suggested changes to the local worktree without staging, committing, or pushing.

  • #13771 3c28e7a Thanks @sylwester-liljegren! - Alert you when Kilo finishes a task, needs your input, needs permission, or hits a terminal error. Enable VS Code notifications, native OS notifications (Windows, macOS, and Linux), or both — OS notifications reach you while the editor is in the background, and VS Code notifications wait for you with a Show action that opens the session and jumps to the latest message. Notifications are skipped for the session you are already looking at, they follow your selected language, and a Test button confirms native notifications work on your system.

  • #13958 4c2a6eb - Show commits, force pushes, merges, approvals, and the pull request description in the Agent Manager PR conversation, in the order they happened.

  • #13953 3c04a86 - Show pull request approvals and merge readiness in Agent Manager, with GitHub-backed branch updates, merge methods, auto-merge, and conflict resolution with Kilo.

  • #13679 e27ff0a - Keep working toward a session goal with /goal, with shared pause, resume, and clear controls in the terminal and VS Code. Pause goals after no-action replies, terminal failures, Stop, new messages, and backend restarts. Rename custom commands or MCP prompts named goal to use this reserved command. Show a labeled Goal icon with hover details while work runs.

Compose multiline goals with images and file attachments in VS Code. Select /goal to enter goal mode, or cancel to keep the draft as ordinary chat. Keep drafts and attachments when submission fails.

Keep the current goal running when replacement attachments are invalid. Make pending Goal submissions read-only, and preserve the draft when Cancel exits Goal mode before acknowledgement.

Disable clarification questions during active goals and delegated work while keeping permission approvals unchanged. Make safe, reversible decisions autonomously and report completion or blockers.

Retain Active, Complete, Blocked, and Paused goals with their objective and reason until explicitly cleared. Let the working model explicitly report completion or a blocker with the Goal-only reporting tool, without a separate evaluator or independent verification claim. Pause no-action turns that have no explicit report. Keep complete goals complete after a backend restart and label their resume action as Restart.

Starting a Goal while a response is running replaces that response after the Goal request is validated.

  • #13940 b8fe009 - Identify subagents with consistent theme-colored avatars in Task cards, background agents, subagent tabs, and swarm messages. Show all participants in board message headers, and animate running avatars instead of showing a separate loading indicator.

  • #13782 4d2d800 - View and reset the shared agent board from its owning session without stopping agents or clearing conversations.

Patch Changes

  • #13926 818d31d - Explain that Agent Manager requires a specific project folder when the VS Code workspace is the home folder or a filesystem root.
