October 15, 2026 Markdown Review, What's New Announcements, and Workflow Step Notifications 1.3.11 This release brings Markdown Review to every Kiro IDE user, so you can comment on Markdown files in your workspace and send the comments to Kiro in one batch. It also adds a What's new announcement browser, makes workflow step notifications easier to scan, can generate commit messages before you stage changes, and fixes terminal, workflow, and sign-in issues. Review Markdown documents Open a .md file in your workspace in a rendered review panel, comment on exact passages, and send your comments together. The panel stays current as the file changes and adds an outline, Mermaid controls, and horizontal scrolling for wide tables. Open it from the editor title bar, Command Palette, Specs view, or the Review button on supported spec documents.
