Tabnine v6.6.2

Released · Tabnine

What the release notes say

v6.6.2 September 22, 2026

Bug Fixes

Accounts: Fixed requests made with an expired or invalid sign-in token returning a server error instead of prompting you to sign in again. This could appear as intermittent failures, particularly after a period of inactivity. Cost Control: Fixed an issue where organization admins could not set the organization-wide per-user limit or per-team limits. The organization-wide monthly total cap still requires an installation administrator. v6.6.1*

Improvements

Admin Console: Administrators working with very large user lists, for example when excluding many users from a selection, no longer hit request size limits.

Bug Fixes

Self-Managed Models: Fixed models configured with Agent enabled and Chat disabled being rejected in the IDE Agent tab and the Tabnine CLI with an "Unsupported model" error, even though the model's connection test passed. Affects all providers and was introduced in 6.6.0. If you enabled Chat as a workaround, you can turn it off again after upgrading. Accounts: Fixed an unnecessary failed request when loading available features for users who are not assigned to a team. v6.6.0*

Enterprise Agent:

Tabnine CLI, powered by OpenCode : Now available to all customers. One installer for macOS, Linux and Windows Beta Agent in the IDE: The same agent is available in VS Code and JetBrains as a beta. It is off until an installation administrator enables it for the organization and an admin or team lead turns on Beta agent under Teams > Features . Requires the Agent to be enabled for that team.

Enterprise Capabilities:

Analytics: The Agent Usage page now breaks tool activity down by MCP server and by tool, with active users and a trend against the previous period. Inference from outside Google Cloud: Optional secure proxy for installations that cannot reach Tabnine-hosted inference over Private Service Connect. Off by default; contact your account manager to enable. Analytics event filtering: Installation administrators can change which events are collected without a new image or a pod restart. Security Fixed CVE-2026-64642, a high severity authorization bypass, by upgrading Next.js version. Team managers can no longer grant the Admin role through an invitation or a user update. Usage reports no longer expose another user's model usage. Updated dependencies and base images across several services. Bug Fixes Analytics: Fixed inflated agent message counts, events collected despite being excluded, built-in tool usage shown as 0%, and stale reports caused by connection strings or credentials with special characters. Upgrades: Fixed a database error during the 6.4.8 to 6.5.0 repository connection migration. Enterprise Agent: Fixed the IDE agent failing to start after an extension update, caused by a version setting it shared with the CLI. Self-Managed Models: Fixed misleading guidance in the OpenAI-compatible model wizard, and per-team model assignment not being applied. Chat: Fixed the message history sent to models using the Responses API. Accounts: Fixed an error that could block sign-up. Context Engine: Fixed an issue with repositories added at the organization level.
