• Cline (must-know): If you call GPT-6 via OpenAI or Azure, update desktop-v0.0.48 / cli-v3.0.73 / sdk v0.0.95 or every request still dies on max_tokens. If you relied on the previous Cline-provider default, pin explicitly — unpinned sessions now get Claude Sonnet 5.5, and several aggregator defaults moved (Gemini 4 Argon, Muse Spark Open, Reflection Beam 1.0, Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash). Azure gpt-35-turbo must stay on max_tokens (SDK already special-cases it).
• Claude Code v2.1.302: Turn Idle compaction off from /config if the new notices are in the way. Set CLAUDE_CODE_AUTO_MODE_MODEL only if you care about the client classifier — it does not change server-side auto mode. Do not point the Read tool at pipes/devices named like images; >128 MB image sources are refused. If you switch to Vertex/Bedrock mid-session or use gateway prefixes like anthropic/claude-opus-4-1, this tag is the fix for the extra-input and wrong-model save bugs. After claude plugin / marketplace refresh, confirm the write finished (reftable git defaults were re-cloning and leaving version “unknown”).
• Goose v1.55.0: Expect auto-compaction to stop at 225k tokens. Malformed GOOSE_MODE is now rejected across ACP providers. If you debug MCP, look for W3C trace context and provider x-request-id. Custom vision models need supports_vision declared. Cost estimates now apply long-context price tiers.
• Antigravity: Run agy plugin validate before shipping skills/subagents/rules — missing frontmatter, duplicate skill names, reserved agent names, and root-level AGENTS.md/GEMINI.md are now errors or warnings. If Remote Control history was blank in daemon mode, 1.4.2 is the fix.
• Kilo v7.8.13 (pre-release): When fanning out through Agent Manager, name the agent you want so edit/bash/MCP permission rules travel with it. Wrong names now return the selectable list. JetBrains v7.1.11 already bundles this CLI and will refresh expired MCP OAuth tokens; OpenAI-compatible tool-content normalization is opt-in, so leave it off unless you need it.
• Copilot CLI v1.0.100-1: /sessions now uses the unified browser (500-account cap). If sandbox host rules must go through a corporate proxy, HTTPS_PROXY/HTTP_PROXY are honored when no sandbox proxy is set.
• Factory Droid v0.244.0: Starting a turn before MCP/connectors finish loading should continue instead of dropping tools. Interrupted-tool follow-ups should get an answer, not another tool call.
• Mistral Vibe v2.26.1 (this week): Prefer the Rust CLI for /proxy-setup and /plugins. Use s in /model//thinking for session-only pins; Enter still writes config. Set enable_subagents = false / enable_background_processes = false if you do not want the agent to spawn them.

For teams

• Pin Cline models in shared profiles. The recommended-list flip back to Claude Sonnet 5.5 and the aggregator default reshuffle will change cost and behavior for anyone on “whatever Cline recommends.” Roll desktop, CLI, and SDK together if GPT-6 is in the fleet.
• Claude Design: Standalone claude.ai/design is slated to close 14 Dec 2026 — /design-sync and /design-login now say so. Plan migration; this is a date in the release notes, not a rumor.
• Permission boundaries on subagents. Kilo’s Agent Manager can now run a custom agent with its own edit/bash/MCP rules on fan-out — that is a control-plane change, not just UX. Review who may start named agents. Goose finishing pending tools before max-turns can extend runtime past the turn cap you thought you had.
• MCP and secrets. Kilo JetBrains will refresh expired MCP OAuth tokens automatically. Claude Code’s Read-tool memory fix is a local DoS/secret-exfil footgun closed (huge files, pipes, devices). Copilot CLI sandbox traffic following HTTP(S)_PROXY may surprise air-gapped or egress-filtered setups — confirm intended proxy path.
• Cursor Environments API (beta, blog): Programmatic create/manage of cloud agent environments, 300-repo cap, faster large-env load. Treat as product marketing until a versioned client notes it. Canvases are share-by-link — decide whether that is an allowed artifact channel.
• GitHub in Slack/Teams: Multi-repo issue/PR/code actions from one conversation. Useful for support rooms; also a wider blast radius for @GitHub bots. The changelog omits 40 further items — do not policy on the omitted tail.
• Factory org review workflows that name a branch now run Droid instead of refusing. If refusal was your safety net, update the workflow rules.
• Augment -sea macOS builds are unsigned on this prerelease. Do not push them as trusted enterprise binaries.
