For developers

• Qwen Code v0.25.3 today: upgrade if you use Test Failure Explorer or Web Shell. Expect optional model layouts (with fallback), a cleaner mobile composer, live Recent executions, and a second prompt before folder delete. Do not assume the omitted 62 items.
• Antigravity 1.4.1 → 1.4.2 today: run agy plugin validate on any plugin with SKILL.md, agents/, or rules/. Fix missing frontmatter, name/folder mismatches, reserved agent names, and root-level AGENTS.md/GEMINI.md. Take 1.4.2 if you use Remote Control in daemon mode.
• Claude Code v2.1.303 today: install for patches only. For real behavior changes, read v2.1.299 (idle compaction, @ mention paths-only) and v2.1.300 (mod hooks, /advisor, OTel) — those are this week, not today.
• Cline cli-v3.0.72: if you set CLINE_PLUGIN_MODE=in_process, change it to worker or sandbox before the next session. Check cline config tools / cline hub plugins if plugins will not run. Use the new provider request id on failed model calls.
• Copilot CLI v1.0.99-0 (pre-release): try /share with no args and session-scoped /sandbox. Assume sandboxed commands can reach localhost. Browser plugin id is now browser-use.
• Kimi Code 2.2.0: NotifyUser is off unless you flip Lab//experiments or KIMI_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_NOTIFY_USER=1. Do not rely on in-turn background waits longer than 90 seconds.
• Codex rust-v0.162.0: enable worktrees only on trusted local projects. If you maintain custom Responses providers, the live-web and remote-compaction knobs are in this tag. Linux/Windows sandbox startup bugs in the notes are worth the upgrade if you hit them.
• Vibe v2.26.1: Rust CLI /proxy-setup, /plugins, /reload-plugins; s in /model and /thinking is session-only. enable_subagents = false and enable_background_processes = false are the local kill-switches.
• Zed v1.25.0-pre / Goose v1.53.0: treat new model ids (Gemini 4 Argon, GPT-6-*, Claude Fable/Opus 5.5) as whatever those tags shipped — pre-release and large omitted tails, not production mandates.

For teams

• Cline (must-know): plugin execution moved out of the hub. Roll cli-v3.0.72 with a comms note that in_process is dead; expect session-start warnings instead of silent in-hub fallback. Default recommended model becomes Gemini 4 Argon when none is set — pin models in policy if you do not want that drift. cline hub ensure/start --json is the new automation hook.
• Mistral Vibe v2.26.0 (must-know) then v2.26.1: the 0600 ~/.vibe/.env fix is a multi-user-machine security patch — ship it. v2.26.1’s session-holder reporting is what you want if two clients can open the same stored session. Decide explicitly whether agents may start background processes or subagents.
• Kilo v7.8.7 / v7.8.13 (pre-release, 7.8.7 is must-know for Kilo users): multi-project Agent Manager is no longer experimental. Plan for per-project tabs/sessions/branches and, in 7.8.13, custom agents (with their MCP/bash/edit rules) on fanned-out sessions. Do not fleet-upgrade pre-release tags without a pilot.
• Copilot CLI pre-release: trusted repository plugins now install/update before chat. Pair that with the new localhost-open sandbox default — review whether private-network reachability is acceptable.
• Qwen managed runtimes (v0.25.3 / v0.25.1): published AgentDefinitions can pin MCP servers and Hook catalogs into Hosted Runtimes; v0.25.1 adds an experimental Kubernetes CSI runtime and durable background shell. Treat those as platform features, not laptop defaults.
• Claude Code v2.1.299–v2.1.300: idle compaction and CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_FILE_MENTIONS change cost and data-sharing behavior; /advisor stays off until selected; CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ADVISOR_TOOL=1 is the hard off. OTel cache-lifetime and GenAI attributes are the new telemetry contract.
• Goose v1.53.0: a lean ACP-only binary is in the tag — confirm which artifact your install path uses. MCP App PiP is the desktop change users will notice.
• Codex rust-v0.162.0: sandbox construction and deny-glob fixes are the team-relevant part; worktree tools only appear when the feature is enabled on trusted projects.

What to ignore

• Claude Code v2.1.303 as a feature release. The evidence is one sentence. Do not infer hooks, models, or MCP changes from it.
• “+N more changes” / bodyOmitted. Qwen 0.25.3 omits 62, Codex 0.162.0 omits 132, Vibe 2.26.0 omits 88. Those are not secret must-knows; they are unpublished in this brief.
• Pre-releases as fleet policy: Copilot CLI v1.0.99-0, Zed v1.25.0-pre, Kilo v7.8.7 and v7.8.13.
• Judge/tag internals (impact scores, surface:*, fingerprint tags). They are ranking hints, not changelog facts.
