• Claude Code v2.1.316: If subagents should not inherit session effort, set CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_EFFORT. If ultrathink must be inert, set CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ULTRATHINK. Private CAs with looped cross-certs: CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_LOOPED_CROSS_CERT_DROP. Confirm the orphaned-shell fix if you rely on abrupt CLI exits.

• Codex rust-v0.166.0 (this week): codex queue --resume for unloaded threads; codex doctor --network-only before blaming the model. GPT-6.1 Terra is in the bundled, Vertex, and Bedrock catalogs.

• Claude apps gateway: Roll pooled_budget if a group should share one monthly cap on top of personal limits. • Windsurf: Cyber Verification Program members can self-toggle in the Devin Local picker; Off falls back to team retention. Confirm who your admin listed.
• Factory Droid v1.1.0: Enterprise owners can poll org audit events on a documented public endpoint. Run doctor to find duplicate installs on PATH.
• Mistral Vibe v3.0.0 (this week): enable_mcp is admin-enforceable and blocks add/remove/toggle/login and plugin-provided MCP. Shared-only API keys already refuse connectors that need login (vibe --setup). Pair with v2.26.1’s enable_subagents / enable_background_processes kills.
• Copilot CLI v1.0.100: Managed plugin activation updates in live sessions when policy changes; MCP hang-on-tools no longer freezes startup for minutes.

What to ignore

• Augment Code’s prerelease notes are distribution mechanics, not agent behavior. macOS SEA builds are explicitly unsigned.
• Windsurf v3.11.235 (4 MB diagnostic logs) and Antigravity’s table-alignment fix are support/UX, not model or permission changes.
• Copilot v1.0.106-2 is a prerelease; do not treat it as the fleet default over v1.0.100.
