Source mix: 54% GitHub/changelog vs HTML. Kiro, Factory Droid, and both Copilot posts are HTML/docs/blog — treat them as thinner than the GitHub tags. One source in this window reported errors; do not treat any single HTML page as complete. Copilot CLI v1.0.106-8 and Codex rust-v0.168.0-alpha.1 are prerelease tags. Augment’s auggie prerelease and Codex libcap-v2.75 are packaging, not product notes (see What to ignore).

For developers

• Kiro daily users: expect a V3 prompt if you are still on V2. Classic and the desktop app will not come back from this binary. If you need V2, start with kiro-cli --v2 and pin that in aliases/scripts. Turn on Workflows, Memory, Approve for me, /sandbox, and /autonomous only after you have seen how they interact with your deny/ask/allow rules.
• Editor-as-agent: agy acp is the GitHub-documented way to attach Antigravity to an ACP client; use agy acp --login over SSH. Remote sessions do not offer this machine’s skills — do not assume local skill files travel. Copilot-in-Air is a parallel ACP path; it does not replace the Copilot plugin, and the cloud path is org-gated.
• Mid-session control: Kimi 2.5.0 applies /model and /effort on the next turn, not the in-flight one; fork instead of overwriting a long run. Vibe 3.1.0 /context is the way to see what is eating the window before compaction. Codex 0.166.0 (this week) codex queue --resume is the matching “don’t lose the thread” move.
• Upgrade Claude Code to 2.1.318 if you hit --continue amnesia after 2.1.314, macOS Bash pile-ups, or permission prompts that ate the next keystrokes. Check claude auth status for loginExpiresAt.
• Qwen: set privacy.usageStatisticsEnabled: false if you do not want background catalog refresh. Treat /verify-pr as a local isolation recipe (untrusted code in Docker, credentials stay on the host) — not as a hosted CI product.
• Copilot CLI v1.0.106-8 is a prerelease. Useful if you fork sessions, use BOM-written hook files on Windows, or run local models on Windows (llama.cpp now auto-installs). Do not assume frontmatter in --agent files is honored; ignored keys now warn on stderr.
• Vibe 3.1.0: disable enable_file_autocomplete on huge trees if the background index is the tax. Leave experimental_enable_mistral_mcp_connector off until you intend to debug it. On trusted macOS repos, new worktrees clone from a template unless you set worktree_copy_on_write = false.

For teams

• Kiro 3.0.0 is a fleet break. Inventory Classic/V1 aliases, desktop-app installs, inline-autocomplete workflows, and custom V2 agent files before the next auto-update. Decide explicitly whether custom agents may be upgraded, and document kiro-cli --v2 only as a temporary hold. Cloud resume, Approve for me, and /autonomous on change the approval story even though deny/ask/allow still win — update the policy text, not just the binary.
• Claude Code: 2.1.318 assume_role on mantle is the hook for cross-account AWS and per-developer cost. Shared-network home directories can swallow /logout, MCP remove, and trust/consent writes while reporting success — do not audit those hosts from CLI exit codes alone. 2.1.317’s email-exfiltration prompt, onFailure: "block" hooks, extra-connector warning on /schedule, and gateway cost API are the complementary controls.
• Qwen operators: model.catalogRefresh is now operator-scoped; pair it with privacy.usageStatisticsEnabled: false if catalog traffic should not run in the background. If you adopt /verify-pr, the security property in the notes is “credentials on the host, untrusted PR in a container” — review the proxy, not just the Dockerfile name.
• MCP and permissions: Vibe 3.0.0’s managed enable_mcp is a kill switch for user and plugin MCP. Factory Droid v1.3.0 tasks inherit the parent run’s permission-skipping — a child task will not stop for approval if the parent would not. Antigravity remote sessions show that conversation’s own permission preset.
• Copilot spend: the usage API now separates local BYOK (developer key or local runtime) from enterprise custom models. Air cloud tasks consume the Copilot subscription, not JetBrains AI credits, and need Air Teams plus admin enablement.
• Do not roll Copilot CLI prerelease, Vibe’s experimental MCP connector, Qwen experimental.unifiedAgentLoop, or Augment’s unsigned macOS -sea assets as default managed installs.

What to ignore

• OpenAI Codex libcap-v2.75: unmodified libcap 2.75 tarball for Bubblewrap/musl builds, plus a SHA-256. Not a Codex user-facing release.
• OpenAI Codex rust-v0.168.0-alpha.1: the notes are the single line “Release 0.168.0-alpha.1.” No features, fixes, or breaking changes are in evidence.
• Augment Code v1.2.0-prerelease.202611031510: install-script and Node SEA packaging. macOS -sea assets are unsigned. Not a reason to change workflow.
• Omitted bodies (+N more changes on Antigravity, Qwen, Kimi, Vibe, Claude, Copilot CLI/blog, Kiro, Factory). Absence of a mention is not evidence the change is small.
